the photos
are all posted, but there's obviously quite a bit of explaining to do-
stay tuned!
in progress...
blah, blah, blah...
after stopping in dallas for jentoberfest [a clever mixture of both
oktoberfest AND jen's birthday]

Athens...
acropolis, the Parthenon,
temple of zeus, st. lycabettus hill, ouzo, tons of meat, & even more
wine. |

Santorini...
basically consisted of a lot of wandering the unique city of oia, with
breath-taking views at every turn, and thira, the port city, for access to
boat trips out to the center caldera [crater].

Mykonos... a city designed specifically to disorient
attacking pirates, worked even better on unsuspecting tourists like us, and
gave the term "aimless wandering" a new meaning. our search for the
wild nightlife was a bit disappointing, although we came to truly understand
the meaning of low season. while making the rounds, we carried on with
a game we came up with in santorini, based on spotting feral dogs and cats,
and tallying points for various characteristics, and even more for actually
getting close enough to pet them!

Prague... jewish museum and cemetery, mucha museum, the
royal palace, and plenty of great food. |
